- For this relatively light folding magnetic exercise bike, a 3 mm high-density mat is generally enough for:
- floor protection
- anti-slip
- sweat protection
- light vibration reduction
- If using it on the 2nd floor and worried about vibration/noise downstairs, add rubber anti-vibration pads under the bike feet. This is more effective than relying only on a thicker full-size mat.
- No strong need to replace a 3 mm mat with a 10 mm mat for normal seated cycling.
